“The biggest problem on the planet is fear,” says Neale Donald Walsch, speaker, spiritual seeker, and best selling author of the Conversations With God series. This is so, he continues in the following video, because it effects everything we experience…

Walsch then goes on to suggest that everything humans experience comes from either a place of love or a place of fear. Most people come from a place of fear until they are able to examine what it is we’re fearful about. Transforming your fear will enable you to transform the world. Outlining some of the things of which people are afraid, he concludes that one of the biggest fears is the fear of death.

Learning to face and let go of the fear of death – by understanding what death really is – will help. Says Walsch, “If you’re not afraid to die, then you’re not afraid to live. (In addition to the video, many of these fear of death issues are examined in his book, “Home with God: In a Life that Never Ends”

In addition to the fear of death, Walsch explores other manifestations of fear, such as:

• fear in relationships (fear that s/he will leave me),
• money fears (lack and limitation), and
• health concerns (fear of dis-ease).

When we find ourselves looking for serenity, peace, joy, and happiness outside of ourselves, we experience fear. Learning that the source of our joy resides within us, the fear disappears. The end result of this is that as we let go of fear, we become more attractive to other people — and attract other like-minded, non-fearful people into our lives.

The Conversations with God series, which Walsch says was inspired by God, has helped to redefine “God” for many people around the world.

How does fear affect your life and what ways do you use to work through and recognize the fears?
