It’s all too common for us to feel down sometimes. Even if you are a generally happy person, feelings of depression can sneak into your life. Luckily, there are natural remedies that can have surprising effects on our mood and outlook when we are feeling low.

While essential oils can do wonders for our mood and mental health, they aren’t intended to treat severe mental health conditions or mood disorders.

Always be mindful of signals that something more serious is going on with yourself or a loved one. These include persistent moodiness, fatigue, loss of appetite, low self-esteem and an ongoing sense of hopelessness.

It’s common to feel down sometimes, but if these types of feelings last for more than a few weeks, it’s probably a good idea to seek professional help.
