“Beauty and seduction, I believe, is nature’s tool for survival, because we will protect what we fall in love with.”

Armed with little money and only time and “a sense of wonder”, award-winning cinematographer Louie Schwartzberg spent years filming time-lapses of flowers and nature, a “dance” that he will never tire of.

Watch this 10-minute video featuring this talented videographer at a TED conference in San Francisco, and be captivated by Louie’s honest and near-poetic declaration on the beauty of nature, and how we all ought to connect to it as a way to celebrate life.

He then ends his talk with a beautiful short film narrated by Benedictine monk Brother David Steindl-Rast, which proposes a simple yet beautiful notion – using gratitude as your daily meditation.

How do you personally and spiritually connect to nature, and what are you most grateful for today? We’re listening to you below :)
