Ready to rock Day 5 of the Challenge? Today it’s going to be Ask And It Is Given by Esther & Jerry Hicks.
This is one of the most influential books I’ve ever read. I knew it was highly highly recommended and had a big fan following. I even had it on my bookshelf. But I ignored reading it for YEARS. Why? Because like many of us, I had a mental block towards any material that was claimed to be “channelled”.
When I finally did read it, I felt like smacking myself for not reading 10 years earlier. The book is good. I got so into it that I ended up reading every Esther and Jerry Hicks book in the series within the next 18 months. I even flew to San Diego to attend one of their 1 day seminars (it totally rocked). I even keep a calendar of their quotes on my desk. And my life experienced some profound changes.
My business soared (MindValley doubled in size and revenue), crazy opportunities came my way. I ended up travelling to places I’d only dreamed about and connecting with people I never guessed I would meet (imagine spending 4 days at Richard Branson’s private island and hanging out with him or being invited by Tony Robbins to stay at his resort in Fiji and visit his home). In other words, I upped my game. “Ask and It is Given”? You betcha. And Esther and Jerry Hicks will show you how to dream big and play big too.
Ask And It Is Given by Esther & Jerry Hicks.
“There is nothing that you cannot be, do, or have.”
~ Esther & Jerry Hicks from Ask and It Is Given
From Brian: “Ask and It Is Given is pretty much “The Bible” for the Law of Attraction and (with The Science of Getting Rich) is the foundation of the uber-successful movie, The Secret.
In this PhilosophersNote, we’ll explore what the Law of Attraction actually is, and how we can apply it to our lives and embody the potential in the statement that we can “be, do, or have” anything we desire!
We’ll specifically look at how to use our emotions as a guide to living on purpose and scripting our ideal lives with various (really!) Big Ideas.”
Here’s a lil video from Brian discussing the book. Just a side note. You’ll have to crank up your volume on this video. Technical difficulties ;)
And twitter users, don’t forget the #50days :)
Also, because lots of people are joining in on the Challenge a few days late and in case you miss a day or two, check out this page >> We’ve listed every Note that will be discussed (on which day) along with links to the discussion posts.
