Would you like to experience better health and more energy in your life? To help you on your journey, here are 3 tips I’d like to share that helped me radically transform my health and lose over 60 pounds in the process.
Tip Number 1: Take a Holistic Approach to Your Health Goals
Everything in our natural environment is connected.
For a seed to grow it needs favorable weather conditions, water and nutrient-rich soil. The same principle applies to our health. When all the different parts of you feel nourished and nurtured, life takes on a whole new meaning; it becomes infused with optimism, happiness and joy.
When thinking about your health goals, take some time to consider the different areas of your life. Are you fulfilled at work? Are you happy with your family life and romantic relationships? Are you feeling creatively self-expressed?
If you are feeling either bored or stressed in any area of your life, it is likely that this will have an adverse affect on your health and energy levels. Learning what deeply nourishes your body, mind and soul is an important part of this process. Often, food cravings and emotional eating happens when people feel bored or unfulfilled in their lives.
Pay attention to your current life challenges. What are they trying to teach you and how are they impacting your health?
Tip Number 2: Reconnect Your Body and Mind
You become very powerful when your body and mind are working together in harmony. With their combined synergy and support, you will find it easier to achieve your health goals.
Mahatma Gandhi said it best when he remarked “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”
Walking is perhaps one of the easiest ways to achieve your health goals; it is a powerful but gentle way to encourage your body and mind to start communicating with each other.
Yoga is another simple but effective way to start moving your body and connecting with your mind, allowing you to disengage from the “busy-ness of your life.” From this place of inner stillness you can really enjoy the feeling of your body and mind working together in union.
When I work with people to achieve their health goals, one of the first things I recommend is to have a “Breakthrough Healing” session, which is my own blend of gentle and intuitive healing techniques, which may include a combination of the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and body work.
Taking the time to reconnect your body and mind will help you to take massive steps towards your health goals.
Tip Number 3: Surround yourself with inspiration and support
To succeed in achieving your health goals, it is important that you surround yourself with people and situations that support you.
To find an inspirational and supportive environment and ask yourself: What are my passions? What are my values? What inspires me?
When you become more aware of what inspires and motivates you to be the best you, start dedicating time to nurture these passions, values and inspirations – schedule it in your week to ensure you get a good dose! The more time you spend in your favorite supportive environment, the more health and enjoyment you will experience in your life.
Feeling both inspired and supported will keep you on track to achieving your health goals. For some people, this may mean reading inspiring books or learning a new skill. For others, this may mean switching jobs, travelling or starting a new creative project.
It is also worth considering that having the support of someone who has already walked the journey before will enable you to stay motivated and ensure that you achieve your desired health goals
You deserve to live a healthy life.
Creating vibrant health is not just about eating less and doing more – it is important that you also address and heal the emotional and spiritual aspects of your life. When you take a holistic approach, reconnect your mind and body, and surround yourself with the right inspiration and support, you will put yourself on the fast track to successfully achieving your health goals.
