Hey folks, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so we couldn’t miss this opportunity to talk about our favorite 4-letter-word. That’s right, L-U-V (okay, we know, this is the 3-letter version).
Have you made a list of the traits you want in an ideal mate? Have you stayed open-minded about dating someone that really doesn’t ‘wow!’ you? Have you changed your ‘style’, your hair, your pick-up lines and still, manifesting love is always just outta reach? Maybe it’s time to look in another direction. Maybe it’s time for an inner make-over. Check out these 3 tips for manifesting love and see what you think.
1. “Be the Change …”
Gandhi said it best, but this truth applies to more than nations seeking peace. If you want love in your life, you darn well better BE love. And I’m not talking about selective kindness to a few close friends, buttering up the boss or obligator ablutions to mom, dad or god. I’m talking about a genuine connection to and spreading of energies like Kindness, Compassion, Playfulness, Forgiveness and Mirth. There’s just no way around it. If you’re up for manifesting love this Valentine’s Season, the first thing you have to do is BE lovable – in the heart-felt kind of way.
2. Say Yes to Love
No, this isn’t the same thing as #1. This is a ‘Yes!” yelled loudly from your heart to the heavens every time you see love manifested before you: a couple walking hand-in-hand; a child with a puppy, a parent, a courteous driver, a friendly waiter. Every time you see loving kindness somewhere in your daily life, give a loud thanks and ‘bravo!’ to All That Is for the bounty of love all around you. I promise – it’ll change your mood and your love attraction factor.
3. Love Thyself
Hey, if you don’t love yourself, how is anyone else going to? Now I’m not talking about vanity here. Actually, vanity is the exact opposite of self-love. Vanity is the mask that covers insecurity. And insecurity comes from self-loathing. No, I’m talking about self-respect, self-appreciation and enjoying you’re own company. When you really love yourself, you lose any vibe of desperation – and you certainly don’t need to be ‘on the make’. A state of genuine self-love actually draws love. Try it and see!
