Champis is a five-year old bunny who lives in the heart of the high coast of Sweden. He has three siblings, is single, likes to eat chicken feed, and really enjoys drinking spring water. A sheep herder by trade, Champis likes working in the barn and hanging out with birds.
These light-hearted stats about Champis are offered by Paula Lundberg and Dan Westman at their blog, Gårdsbacken (Farm Hill) – which is about life on the farm with herding dogs. The couple discovered this “rare bit” through a friend and decided to post a video about him on Youtube… and the rest is fast becoming viral history (currently at 1,714,212 hits since its upload on January 24, 2012 – and growing).
This video reveals Champis – who they describe as “The Big Little Rabbit” – doing what he does best : working hard herding sheep. A furry little control freak, watching him is fun and exhilerating; and the folks at Farm Hill believe that he’s a tough guy who is bringing much good into the world. How? By making people laugh when we watch him in action. And showing that small can also be powerful.
Life on their farm sounds pretty nice – what with their small flock of sheep, Hedemora Chickens, and a smattering of Geese. We can’t wait to see videos of what the other animals can do!
