Lol okay Tia I'm not sure where to start on this one. I'm not sure whether this is an accusation, or trying to confirm my thoughts on the subject. FYI I think exactly the way you do about it. :) This is meant to be a humorous article about an ironic book someone wrote showing just how different Men's idea of "sexy" and women's idea of what's "sexy" and how a couple's sexuality doesn't have to be explicit or perverse. Sometimes simply being thoughtful and kind is an extremely attractive quality. I don't think this has anything to do with "lightening the subject" and it's definitely not making appeals for our acceptance of the adult film industry which I think exploits and demeans it's subjects both male and female.

Not everyone is indwelled by the Holy Spirit and can make a distinction. and to many that may come across your post may feel justified in their perverseness just by the accepted use of the word. Perhaps what you said about "the diference between men's and women's idea of what "sexy" is, might have been a better choice of words from the writer of the article. and thats fine. i agree with that totally. but the joke of this is that it is meant to be porn, a medium entirely devoted to inspiring and aiding people who are masturbating. Dear Heart - 1. you are taking this WAY to literally. Porn does not exclusively mean erotica anymore, but can also mean simply something that a person finds really enjoyable to look at. 2. The thing is, the vast majority of women are cleaning machines. It doesn't matter that she has an MD, a JD or whatever, she will probably be doing the majority of the child rearing and house cleaning in addition to her career responsibilities and one of the requirements of great sex is that you be awake to enjoy it.

It sounds to me like the part that you aren't getting is that this is not necessarily porn for women so much as it is porn for people in a long term relationship sharing a burden. i have no chip on my shoulder, i just said the article was maybe a little sexist, if we assume the word porn has its more common meaning. i apologise if im not getting it, and i agree "long term relationship porn" would have been a bit funnier, to me at-least. i know that you have to be awake to enjoy sex, but since there is no such thing as "buying comdom porn" this point seems a bit superfluous. porn tends to assume both participants are ready. i get all your saying about division of labour. im not trying to have a go or be aggressive, and im sincerely sorry if i have been. Hmmm...ok, yeah I did find it funny since it reflects my life. I sooo love it that my husband was there and supportive when our kids were little that I did find it sexy, so no, no masturbation, but definitely huge warm fuzzies when I think of him doing those things. And yeah, women do get straight up animal horny, but I've always found a distinction between erotica and porn, and really hard core porn doesn't always tend to assume both parties are ready, so obviously no going to buy condom porn.
