Launched in 2003 in the U.S., the main motivation behind this conscious campaign is to reduce the over-consumption of meat and numerous health problems, such as cardiovascular disease and cancer.

All you have to do (as the name simply states) is not consume meat on Mondays. The little that you do will go a long way to not only improving your health, but also reducing the huge amount of waste that animal farms produce on a daily basis.
