In this three-minute video, Philosopher’s Notes author, Brian Johnson, explains why having self-confidence takes more than just having faith in your ability to succeed.
Surprisingly, and somewhat reassuringly, true confidence actually stems not only from your ability, but from your acceptance that the road to success will be tough. This is because when you have a realistic view about what you need to achieve, and how you’re going to get there, you’re more prepared for any obstacles that come your way. Makes sense, doesn’t it?
