This was exactly the mission of Improv Everwhere (a New York City-based prank collective that causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places) for their latest stunt – placing a wooden lectern with a megaphone holster and sign that read “Say Something Nice” in public spaces around New York. And then leaving it alone to see what happens….
