How many of you wish you had Benjamin Zander as a teacher growing up? (Ok, him and perhaps Robin William’s character from Dead Poet’s Society!)
As after watching this 14-minute video, you’ll be left dreaming about the difference this charismatic and influential man would have had on your life.
Zander, has conducted the Boston Philharmonic for 25 years, now works with teachers to help them motivate their students. In doing so, one method he preaches (which we suspect hasn’t received praise from the education system) is to reverse the traditional grading system by giving students A’s from the beginning.
We love his philosophy towards nurturing the genius in students and awakening the endless possibilities in people. What do you think? Tell us below.
